Challenge

A passion project to prove I could design something from scratch—integrating external hardware with 3D printed parts. Also, existing can crushers are overpriced for what they do.

Approach

Designed in Shapr3D on iPad. Printed with PETG for strength. Integrated bearings, machine screws, and stainless steel rods for the rail system.

Outcome

Partially complete, pending final assembly. Learned multi-part printing and hardware integration—skills that carry forward to every hardware project.
